The place has a very minimalist, yet creative look that caters to people who are looking for a place to just have some good quality time.
With so much to choose from the menu, it was difficult to choose which one to order. Luckily, I was able to dine with the head chef and the owners Francis, Glen, and Chai who strongly recommended the sisig, beef tadyang, and the Dong Juan burger. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I ended up being the food photographer for Dong Juan, which also means I got to try out some delicious and pretty dishes Dong Juan has to offer!
Their mozzarella cheese sticks go really well with the fresh tomato salsa dip. Super stretchy, creamy, cheesy, you'll beg for more!
The cheese and garlic pizza is so mouthwatering! It tastes as good as it looks! It goes really well with Tabasco sauce too! :)
The fish is really soft and juicy and goes really well with the tartar sauce. According to Chai, all the food served in Dong Juan are fresh, use European spices and has no preservatives. :) Way to go for a more healthy approach!
One of my favorite dish is the Dong Juan Burger! The patty is so succulent, barbecue-y, and juicy! It mixes really well with the huge tomatoes, cucumber, wheat bun, and the cheese! The potato chips are a perfect side to this burger!
The baby back ribs in barbecue sauce has got to be my favorite dish among all I've tried! It's extremely tender, juicy and goes well with the zesty barbecue dip!
This is what I believe is the famous drink, the signature of Dong Juan: the Kalamansi blush (aka kblush). It's simply calamansi juice with a hint of strawberry flavor and real strawberries on top. It's the ultimate perfect drink to have with any of their dishes. I keep coming back for this and it's a big MUST TRY! The zesty, sweet taste will surely make you want more!
